Who operates this guide

Las Vegas Pool Guide is operated by Clarity Custom Pools (Clarity Services, LLC), a pool contractor based in Las Vegas, Nevada, holding Nevada contractor license A10 #0080815. Clarity Custom Pools is the publisher of every article on this site. The guide is not an independent publication, a nonprofit or a trade association.

Because the publisher is a pool builder that works in the market these articles cover, each article carries a short note identifying Clarity Custom Pools as the publisher. Clarity’s company facts are on a separate, clearly labeled page: Clarity Custom Pools.

What this guide is

Las Vegas Pool Guide is a set of articles for homeowners, HOA boards and property managers who are planning, building, remodeling or maintaining a pool in Southern Nevada. It covers costs, timelines, permits, design, materials, equipment and the local conditions that affect them. The articles are written to inform homeowners and help them ask better questions and read a proposal with confidence.

Editorial approach

• Written to inform. The articles explain how pool projects work in Southern Nevada. They do not rank or review builders.
• Sources are cited. Permit, health, water and contractor rules are linked to the official source where one exists: Clark County, the Cities of Las Vegas, Henderson and North Las Vegas, the Southern Nevada Health District, the Nevada State Contractors Board, the Southern Nevada Water Authority and the Nevada Legislature. Where a rule could not be confirmed from the agency’s own material, the article says to check with that agency and links to it.
• Cost figures are attributed. Cost figures come from published cost guides such as HomeGuide and Angi. They are labeled as published national estimates, not Las Vegas prices, and local costs vary.
